Spotlight on Excellence: Teacher of the Week Amy Whalen at Churchill Elementary School
Our latest Teacher of the Week at Churchill Elementary School in Norton Shores is Amy Whalen, who teaches second grade. She was pleasantly surprised by the recognition and expressed her love for working with children. The principal, Kevin Teays, commended her dedication and commitment to her students, highlighting her passion for teaching. Whalen, who has been teaching for 27 years, shared how rewarding it is to see her students grow and succeed both in and out of the classroom.
