The Masters Golf Tournament Expands Coverage with Amazon Prime Video Partnership

The Masters golf tournament has expanded its coverage over the years, and in 2026, it will partner with Amazon Prime Video to provide additional streaming hours. Previously, The Masters only showed the last few holes on Sunday afternoon, but in 2002, all 18 holes were finally broadcast. Despite this progress, The Masters still falls short in comparison to other golf majors in terms of televised hours.
Amazon Prime Video will air full coverage from 1-3 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday during the tournament, followed by ESPN's coverage from 3-7 p.m. ET. This additional coverage will allow viewers to see more of the field play, especially those with early tee times who might have been missed in the past.
Last year, The Masters expanded its weekend coverage with exclusive streaming windows on Paramount+ before CBS's live coverage, focusing on players lower down the leaderboard. The Amazon streaming windows will showcase top golfers with morning tee times, providing fans with a more comprehensive viewing experience.
Despite already offering extensive streaming options on their website, The Masters is embracing traditional television coverage with the addition of Amazon Prime Video. This move reflects the tournament's commitment to enhancing the viewing experience for golf fans. With the continuous expansion of coverage, it is possible that one day, viewers will be able to watch every hour of The Masters with full television treatment.
