Team USA Announces Coaching and Management Staff for 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games

Team USA has finalized its coaching and support staff for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, aiming for consistency with familiar faces. Head coach Mike Sullivan will be supported by John Hynes, David Quinn, and John Tortorella, who previously worked together during the 4 Nations Face-Off. Sullivan, the New York Rangers' coach, was initially announced as the head coach for the Olympic team. Hynes, the Minnesota Wild's head coach, has a strong history with the American program, having coached the U.S. National Team Development Program and the U.S. senior team. Quinn, an assistant coach with the Rangers, previously coached the San Jose Sharks and led Team USA at the 2022 Olympics. Tortorella, despite being let go by the Philadelphia Flyers, brings extensive coaching experience to the American bench, with two Jack Adams trophies and a Stanley Cup to his name.
In addition to the coaching staff, USA Hockey and general manager Bill Guerin have appointed Tom Fitzgerald, Chris Drury, Bill Zito, Stan Bowman, Chris Kelleher, and John Vanbiesbrouck to the management staff. The team's roster is set to be revealed in early January, with the first six players already named, including Quinn Hughes, Charlie McAvoy, Jack Eichel, Auston Matthews, Brady Tkachuk, and Matthew Tkachuk. The coaching and management staff, along with the talented players, are gearing up for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, aiming to bring home the gold for Team USA.
