The Ballout Boyz in Corpus Christi, led by Coach Desiree Williams, are gearing up for the regionals in Kansas after earning a spot in the Adidas Jr 3SSB Circuit. Coach Williams started the team with a small group of football players who wanted to continue playing, and it has since grown into a passion for teaching basketball to new players. The team is seeking sponsorships and donations from the community to cover expenses like uniforms, shoes, travel, gym rentals, and training. The support from family and friends has been crucial in motivating the athletes, and the team is focused on building a strong brotherhood and improving their skills on and off the court.
