Breaking News: Singer D4vd Cancels U.S. Tour Dates Amid Investigation Involving Deceased Body

Singer D4vd has made the decision to cancel the remaining dates of his U.S. tour following an investigation involving a deceased body found in a car registered to him. The scheduled appearance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Sept. 24 has been removed from venue websites as the investigation progresses.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a foul odor coming from a car at the Hollywood Tow yard on Sept. 8. Upon inspection, they discovered a body in a bag in the front trunk of the Tesla registered to Burke at an address in Hempstead, Texas. The remains were identified as those of a missing teenage girl named Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing since April 2024 from Lake Elsinore, Calif.

Following the discovery, unconfirmed photos of D4vd with the victim have circulated online. The New York Times confirmed that the vehicle was not reported stolen, and NBC News reported that Burke is cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was in the midst of his “Withered” North American tour when the news broke. He performed in Minneapolis the day after the incident without addressing the situation but later canceled a show in Seattle on Sept. 17. The singer is known for hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” each with over a billion Spotify streams. His second studio album, “Withered,” was released in April, with a deluxe version set to be released on Sept. 19.

As the investigation unfolds, more details are expected to emerge regarding the situation involving D4vd and the deceased individual found in the car.
