Def Leppard Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield: A Legendary Homecoming Concert Experience
Mercury Studios is set to release Def Leppard Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield on November 21. The concert was recorded in 2023 during their "The World Tour" with Mötley Crüe in their hometown of Sheffield at Bramall Lane. The release will be available in various formats including Blu-ray+2CD, 4K UHD, 2CD, and 2LP, with the vinyl pressed in red, white, and black splatter to pay homage to Sheffield United FC's home kit colors. The 4K UHD version will also include One Night Only Live At The Leadmill, previously released last year.
The concert on May 22, 2023, in Sheffield marked the beginning of Def Leppard's co-headlining European tour with Mötley Crüe. It was a significant homecoming show for the band, being their second hometown stadium concert in 47 years. The Blu-ray+2CD, 2CD, and 2LP versions of the release feature classic hits like "Photograph" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me," as well as UK live debuts of "Take What You Want" and "This Guitar," dedicated to the late guitarist Steve Clark.
Prior to their tour, Def Leppard performed an intimate show at The Leadmill in Sheffield for around 900 devoted fans, revisiting their club days. The concert included a mix of hits and rarities from their entire discography, from On Through The Night to Diamond Star Halos. This exclusive show, One Night Only Live At the Leadmill, will be available for the first time in 4K UHD format on the Diamond Star Heroes 4K release.
