Empowering Kids Through Sports: Lancaster Boys Varsity Soccer Team's Drive for Leveling the Playing Field WNY

The Lancaster Boys Varsity Soccer Team is hosting a drive on Saturday, September 20, to support Leveling the Playing Field WNY, an organization that provides sports equipment to kids in need. They will be accepting monetary donations and gently used athletic equipment from 10 a.m. to noon outside the athletics door.
Dominic Cinelli, a junior at Lancaster, has a personal connection to the cause and has previously raised over $11,000 worth of equipment and donations for the organization. His younger brother, Andrew Cinelli, a freshman, also wanted to contribute, emphasizing the importance of sports in their lives and not wanting other kids to miss out due to financial constraints.
The team, inspired by the Cinelli brothers, has rallied together to support the cause. Coach Luciano Gallo commended the players for taking the initiative to give back to the community, highlighting the importance of being good people in addition to excelling in sports.
All donations collected during the drive will benefit kids in the Western New York community, a gesture that holds special significance for Dominic Cinelli, who appreciates the support he has received from the community throughout his life. If you are unable to attend the drive in person, you can donate online to contribute to this meaningful cause.
