Cardiacs Announce Live Dates for March 2026: Reunion Tour After 26 Years

Cardiacs, the UK art rockers, recently released their first new studio album in 26 years, titled LSD, in September. Following the album's success, the band has announced three live dates for March 2026. The upcoming shows will take place at the Electric in Brixton, London on March 11, Manchester's New Century Hall on March 12, and Glasgow St. Luke's on March 13. These performances mark the band's return to the stage after a hiatus, with their last live dates dating back to 2008 when band leader Tim Smith suffered a cardiac arrest.

The current lineup of Cardiacs includes Jim Smith on bass, Bob Leith on drums, Kavus Torabi on guitar, Craig Fortnam on percussion, and Chloe Herington on saxophone. Additionally, Mike Vennart, Sharron Fortnam, and Jayne Kay contribute vocals to the band's unique sound. Despite the challenges of reuniting after a long break, the band members found that their musical chemistry was still intact during their initial rehearsals. The excitement and joy of playing together again have been a driving force for the band's reunion.

Fans of Cardiacs can look forward to experiencing their eclectic and energetic live performances once again. Tickets for the upcoming shows will be available for purchase starting this Friday. Don't miss the opportunity to witness Cardiacs' captivating and dynamic music live on stage.
