Empowering Youth in the Thoroughbred Industry: TERF Grants $5,000 to Amplify Horse Racing for Educational Enhancements

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) has granted $5,000 to Amplify Horse Racing for educational enhancements. Amplify Horse Racing aims to be the national youth arm of the Thoroughbred industry, offering educational opportunities to young individuals through various horse programs. Their Mentorship Program pairs youth interested in racing careers with industry professionals for personalized guidance.

Amplify Horse Racing's mission is to broaden education and careers in the Thoroughbred industry by supporting existing initiatives and creating new opportunities. They strive to be inclusive of all backgrounds, organizations, disciplines, and age groups, fostering positivity, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. TERF's grants align with the values of its founders, Herb and Ellen Moelis, and are overseen by a dedicated Board.

The current Board of TERF includes Co-Chairs Kathleen Anderson, DVM and James Orsini, DVM, along with other esteemed members. To support the Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation or learn more about their initiatives, visit their website for tax-deductible donation options.
