Avatar: Fire and Ash - New Trailer Released for the Highly Anticipated Third Installment
A new trailer for “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” the third installment in James Cameron's “Avatar” series, has been released by 20th Century Studios. Scheduled for release on Dec. 19, the trailer features Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and his family engaged in a conflict with a rival Na’vi tribe on Pandora. The film will see the return of familiar faces like Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang, as well as introduce new characters played by Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, and David Thewlis.
The original “Avatar” film, released in 2009, remains the highest-grossing movie of all time with a worldwide box office revenue exceeding $2.9 billion. Its sequel, “Avatar: The Way of the Water,” released in 2022, grossed $2.3 billion, surpassing “Titanic” to become the third highest-grossing film. The success of the “Avatar” franchise is only surpassed by “Avengers: Endgame,” which earned $2.7 billion in 2019.
