Aqualung Live Reissue: Jethro Tull's Classic Album Gets a Special Remastered Treatment

Jethro Tull's iconic album Aqualung from 1971 is getting a special reissue treatment with a newly remastered version of their 2005 live recording, Aqualung Live. The album, originally recorded for SiriusXM, will be released on November 21 by InsideOut Music/Sony Music.

The live studio recording features the band's classic lineup of Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Doane Perry, Andrew Giddings, and Jonathan Noyce. Aqualung Live has been newly remastered and will be available on vinyl for the first time in transparent green, yellow, and black variants, as well as on CD and digital formats.

In addition to the reissue, Ian Anderson will be performing his annual Christmas shows, Ian Anderson Presents Christmas With Jethro Tull, in December at various cathedrals in the UK. The band will also embark on The Curiosity Tour in April and May 2026, celebrating their latest album, Curious Ruminant, and their extensive 24-album career dating back to their debut in 1968.

Fans can pre-order Aqualung Live now to secure their copy of this special reissue.
