Unveiling John Lennon's 'Instant Karma!' Video from 'One to One' Benefit Concert at Madison Square Garden
John Lennon and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band performed at the iconic ‘One to One’ benefit concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City over five decades ago. To commemorate the event's anniversary, a never-before-seen video of John's solo hit, “Instant Karma! (We All Shine On),” has been unveiled. The video has been restored and edited, featuring a remixed and re-engineered audio from the original analog tapes, overseen by producer Sean Ono Lennon and a team of experts. The recording was mastered at Abbey Road Studios and is part of the upcoming box set ‘POWER TO THE PEOPLE (The Ultimate Collection)’, set for release on October 10. The estate of John Lennon has also released videos for “Come Together” and “Well Well Well” from the same concert, all of which will be included in the concert film, “Power To The People,” scheduled for release next year.
