Def Leppard to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame: A Celebration of Legacy and Achievements

Def Leppard, the iconic UK pop-metal band, is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9th. The ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. PT at 1750 N. Vine Street in the category of “Recording.” Special guest speakers Jon Bon Jovi and Universal Music president Bruce Resnikoff will be in attendance, with SiriusXM’s Bob Buchmann serving as the emcee.

The band expressed their gratitude for the honor, acknowledging their fans for making it possible. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez also praised Def Leppard, stating that they have secured a permanent place in music history and now on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Def Leppard's Walk of Fame recognition was announced in June 2023, and they have two years to schedule the ceremony from the selection date. The band has been actively touring, recently completing a North American tour and gearing up for the Rock the Tides festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in November, followed by a Las Vegas residency in February.
