Deliver Me From Nowhere": Jeremy Allen White Channels Bruce Springsteen in Upcoming Film

A sneak peek from the upcoming film "Deliver Me From Nowhere" features actor Jeremy Allen White performing Bruce Springsteen's iconic song "Born To Run." The movie follows Springsteen during the recording of his album "Nebraska" and is set to hit theaters on October 24. In a one-minute preview shared by 20th Century Studios, White, portraying Springsteen, is seen on stage in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1981, captivating the audience with a rendition of "Born To Run."

White, who plays Springsteen in the film, revealed that he chose not to seek advice from actors Timothée Chalamet or Austin Butler, who portrayed Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley, respectively, in other projects. Director Scott Cooper promised that the film would offer new insights even to Springsteen's most dedicated fans. Springsteen himself described the movie as an "anti-biopic" and explained his decision to greenlight a film that delves into a challenging period of his life.

Cooper praised White's performance, highlighting the actor's humility and swagger, which he believes capture the essence of Springsteen. Early reviews of "Deliver Me From Nowhere" have praised White's transformation and the film's unconventional approach to the biopic genre. The movie also features Jeremy Strong, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young in key roles alongside White.

Springsteen visited the set to meet White and the young actor playing his younger self. Additionally, he is set to release the electric version of "Nebraska" and has already shared a demo of "Born In The U.S.A." Springsteen has been vocal about his political views, calling for President Donald Trump's impeachment and criticizing the Democratic Party in the US.
