Penguins Secure Preseason Win Against Sabres in Exhibition Match
The Penguins faced the Buffalo Sabres in their second-to-last preseason game. The Sabres had a strong roster for the exhibition match. However, the lead was short-lived as Josh Norris scored for the Sabres soon after. The Penguins regained the lead with a goal from Matt Dumba on a delayed penalty call. They extended their lead with another power play goal by Avery Hayes. The Sabres closed the gap with a goal from Josh Norris in the third period. Ville Koivunen restored the Penguins' two-goal lead with a goal of his own. Rasmus Dahlin scored for the Sabres to make it a one-goal game, but Filip Hallander sealed the win for the Penguins with an empty-net goal. The Penguins will play their final preseason game against the Sabres at home on Friday. It will be interesting to see which players will be in the lineup for the Penguins.
