Nicole Kidman's Post-Divorce Projects: Big Little Lies Season 3 and More
Nicole Kidman is currently involved in multiple projects following her divorce from Keith Urban. The popular HBO series, Big Little Lies, is set to return for a third season after a five-year break. Kidman is also working on Lioness season 3, Practical Magic 2, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Scarpetta, Girls and Their Horses, and Discretion. The actress filed for divorce from Urban after 19 years of marriage, citing differences in their relationship.
Paramount+ has renewed Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness for a third season, with Kidman as an executive producer and lead actress alongside Zoe Saldaña. A sequel to the 1998 film Practical Magic, starring Kidman and Sandra Bullock, has been filmed and is in post-production. Kidman will also star in the Apple TV+ series Margo’s Got Money Troubles, based on a novel by Rufi Thorpe, and the Amazon Prime Video series Scarpetta, based on Patricia Cornwell's book series.
Kidman is set to appear in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Girls and Their Horses, based on a book by Eliza Jane Brazier, and the A24 series Discretion, alongside Elle Fanning. She will also reprise her role in season 3 of Big Little Lies, based on the book by Liane Moriarty. Kidman expressed her excitement for the new projects and the opportunity to continue working on Big Little Lies during a Q&A session in 2023.
