HVCC Women's Soccer Cleat Drive: Supporting the Community, One Pair at a Time
Hudson Valley Community College's women's soccer program is organizing a Cleat Drive during their upcoming Sophomore Day game against Finger Lakes on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the HVCC campus. The drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., allowing fans to donate gently used cleats by dropping them off in a collection box near the main gates of the complex. The goal of the program is to collect at least 30 pairs of cleats to support individuals in the Capital Region communities.
Anna Nichols, a sophomore defender and one of the organizers of the cleat drive, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community through this initiative.
