Recap of the 24th Annual Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic: A Thrilling Event with Thousands of Participants
The 24th annual Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic took place in Louisville, drawing thousands of participants from 110 colleges and universities across 23 states. The event, hosted by the Louisville Sports Commission, saw over 2,400 racers gather at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park for the 5K, 6K, 8K, and 10K races that started at 9 a.m. In addition to the collegiate races, there were also high school invitational and open races, as well as races for middle school students. The event serves as a precursor to the National Collegiate Championship weekend, which is seven weeks away.
