New Mexico Youth Flag Football Tournament Showcases State's Talent and Potential Olympians

Flag football took center stage in New Mexico this past Saturday as two prominent youth organizations hosted an all-day tournament that welcomed participants of all shapes and sizes. The event, held at Tom Tenorio Park, featured 32 teams vying for the title of the best in the state. The winners of the high school girls and co-ed tournaments will advance to compete against teams from across the nation. Flag football is gaining popularity and is set to become an Olympic sport by 2028.
