Exciting Events at the South Okanagan Events Centre: Lucky Section Night and Turkey Tussle Game!
The Penticton Vees are introducing an exciting event called "Lucky Section Night" where fans have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the game. The upcoming game against the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. will feature this special promotion. Each section in the South Okanagan Events Centre will be assigned a Vees player, and if that player scores, the entire section wins a prize. Sections will be assigned on game day and announced on social media for fans to participate in the fun.
Following the "Lucky Section Night," the Vees will face off against the Victoria Royals in a Thanksgiving Monday matinee game known as the "Turkey Tussle." The game will start at 2 p.m., and after the game, there will be a family-friendly open skate on the ice with hot chocolate available. Fans are advised to keep their skates and helmets in their vehicles until after the game, at which point they can retrieve their gear and re-enter the arena for the post-game activities.
