Let Love In": A New Romantic Drama by the Team Behind "The Eight Mountains
The team behind the acclaimed drama "The Eight Mountains" is collaborating once again for a new romantic drama titled "Let Love In." The film, directed by Felix van Groeningen and starring Charlotte Vandermeersch and Luca Marinelli, follows a couple whose relationship faces turmoil when an affair is revealed. The script was co-written by van Groeningen, Vandermeersch, and Anne Paulicevich, with shooting currently taking place in Belgium.
Produced by Mediawan-owned OUR Films, Menuetto, and Rufus in collaboration with Circle One, "Let Love In" has secured backing from arthouse streamer Mubi and international sales outfit The Match Factory. Vandermeersch and van Groeningen previously collaborated on the Italian drama "The Eight Mountains," which premiered at Cannes in 2022 and won the Grand Jury Prize. Marinelli, known for his roles in "The Old Guard 2" and "Mussolini: Son of the Century," stars in the film.
The production team of "Let Love In" includes van Groeningen, Vandermeersch, Hans Everaert, Mario Gianani, Lorenzo Mieli, and Lorenzo Gangarossa. Mubi will handle distribution in key territories, with The Match Factory overseeing worldwide sales. The film promises to deliver a compelling story of love, betrayal, and redemption, showcasing the talents of its accomplished cast and crew.
