Blackmore's Night 25th Anniversary Fall Tour: Celebrating Medieval Folk Rock Music

Blackmore's Night, the music project led by former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and his wife, singer Candice Night, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of concerts this fall. The band, known for its folk rock sound rooted in medieval music, has announced six performances scheduled for November on the East Coast and in New England states. Blackmore's Night, which has released nearly a dozen albums over the years, features a rotating lineup of musicians, with Blackmore and Night as the core members. While initially focusing on acoustic instruments, the band has incorporated electric guitars into their music in recent years. Their latest album, "Nature's Light," came out in 2021. Despite health challenges faced by Blackmore, including a heart attack in 2023, the band continues to perform live. The fall tour kicks off on November 9 in Alexandria, Virginia, and includes stops in Newtown, New Jersey, Wilmington, Delaware, and other cities before wrapping up on November 29 in Tarrytown, New York.
