Ghana's President John Mahama Announces New Diplomatic Appointments: Meet the Ambassadors and Deputy Heads of Missions

Ghana's President John Mahama has recently made new appointments for Deputy Heads of Missions to 18 countries, including the US, Germany, the UK, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. These appointments were announced in a letter from the presidency. Additionally, Mahama appointed 15 individuals as Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Consuls-General for various countries, marking the first set of ambassadorial appointees for the new government. Notable appointments include Ghanaian actress Kalsoume Sinare as the ambassador to Spain, former Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Kojo Bonsu for China, and former Member of Parliament Nii Amasah Namoale for Brazil. Other appointees include Hammed Rashid Tunde Ali and Grace El Mahmoud Marabe for the United Arab Emirates, Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso for India, and Professor Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh for Canada. Additionally, entrepreneur Kojo Choi, of Korean descent, was appointed as Ghana's Ambassador to South Korea.
