Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers Divorce: A Controversial Case of Domestic Violence Allegations
Aaron Phypers is defending himself against accusations of domestic violence in his divorce from Denise Richards. He testified in court, claiming that Richards bruises easily and that he never harmed her. Phypers acknowledged seeing bruising on Richards but denied causing it, suggesting that she may have hurt herself accidentally. He specifically denied causing a black eye shown in a photo from January 2022.
Richards also testified in court, alleging repeated acts of violence during their six-year marriage, including being slapped, choked, and threatened. Witnesses, including Richards' makeup artist and Phypers' cousin, provided conflicting testimonies about the alleged abuse. Phypers denied all accusations, stating that he does not abuse his wife and refuting claims of violent behavior.
The couple, who separated earlier this year, are in the midst of divorce proceedings. Richards was granted a temporary restraining order in July and is seeking to make it permanent. The court case continues as both parties present their testimonies and evidence.
