Rush Reunion Tour 2026: Anika Nilles Joins Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson on Stage

Geddy Lee mentioned in a 2023 interview that there are many great drummers in the music industry today, including Anika Nilles, whom he discovered through his bass tech, John McIntosh. Impressed by her skills and personality, Lee and Lifeson decided to reach out to Nilles to explore the possibility of playing together. After a successful trial period, Nilles will join Rush on their upcoming tour, starting with a concert in Los Angeles next June.
