Peacock has acquired the U.S. rights to the documentary "Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home," which will be available on the streaming service starting October 13. The film follows Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne as they prepare to move back to the UK from the U.S., with their children Jack and Kelly also featured in the documentary. The couple's journey includes planning for Ozzy's farewell gig and overcoming health issues to perform alongside the original Black Sabbath lineup, Metallica, and Guns N' Roses.
The documentary, produced by UK label Expectation in association with JOKS Productions, offers a glimpse into Ozzy Osbourne's life and career, from his days with Black Sabbath to his successful solo endeavors. Banijay Rights, the international distributor, brokered the U.S. deal for the documentary, which will be showcased at MIPCOM, the prominent TV sales market in Cannes.
