Diane Keaton Tribute: Annie Hall and Something’s Gotta Give Return to Theaters Nationwide

AMC Theatres is honoring the late Diane Keaton by bringing back two of her iconic films, Annie Hall and Something’s Gotta Give, to 100 cinemas across the U.S. Keaton passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 11 at the age of 79, shortly after the death of Robert Redford. Her collaborations with filmmaker Woody Allen, including Annie Hall, are celebrated as some of her best work, with Keaton winning an Oscar for her role in the film.
Annie Hall, released in 1977, was a box office success and had a significant cultural impact, ranking high on various lists of greatest movies. Keaton received three more Oscar nominations for best actress, with Something’s Gotta Give being a standout film in her career. The 2003 movie, directed by Nancy Meyers and co-starring Jack Nicholson and Keanu Reeves, was a commercial hit, grossing over $266 million globally.
In addition to AMC Theatres, other cinema chains are expected to showcase Keaton's films in retrospectives. Following her passing, Keaton's movies have surged in popularity on iTunes, with Something’s Gotta Give and Annie Hall ranking high on the movie rental chart. The renewed interest in her work highlights the diverse and impactful filmography she left behind.
