Syracuse Sports Weekly Recap: Mixed Results for Field Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, and More
This week in Olympic Sports, the Syracuse teams had a mixed bag of results. The Field Hockey team split their games in the Bay Area, defeating Stanford 2-1 but falling to California 1-0. The Women's Soccer team secured their first ACC win with a 1-0 victory over Miami, thanks to Mia Klammer's goal. Men's Soccer continued their winning streak with a victory over #25 SMU, while Volleyball split their matches against California and #6 Stanford. The Cross-Country team is gearing up for the Nuttycombe Invitational in Wisconsin, and the Women's Ice Hockey team faced tough losses against #7 Quinnipiac. Syracuse will host North Carolina in Field Hockey, Boston College in Women's Soccer, and Duke and North Carolina in Volleyball this week. The Men's Soccer team will travel to Pittsburgh for their next game.
