Estonian Beatles Tribute: A Musical Journey with Estonia's Finest Musicians
This autumn, a group of well-known Estonian musicians will be performing a series of concerts featuring songs by The Beatles. The lineup includes Robert Linna from Elephants From Neptune, Koit Toome, Mikk Saar, and Juss Haasma from Trikster. While some members have a deep connection to The Beatles' music, others are exploring it for the first time.
The musicians have not yet decided who will play which Beatles member or instrument during the performances. They plan to divide up the vocals and instruments among themselves, with Linna on keyboards, Haasma on drums, Saar on bass, and Toome on guitar. They acknowledge that The Beatles had a unique chemistry that cannot be replicated.
Haasma joked about bringing his drum set to the concerts and becoming Estonia's version of Ringo Starr for a moment. The group will be performing as the "Estonian Beatles" at various venues in Estonia, starting on October 24 at Mooste mõis in Põlva County and continuing in Tallinn, Tartu, and Pärnu.
