Rock Legends Unite: Belinda Carlisle, Sammy Hagar, and Billie Joe Armstrong in Recent Performances and Events

Belinda Carlisle surprised guests at Sammy Hagar's 78th birthday party by performing The Go-Go's hit song 'We Got The Beat' at his Cabo Wabo resort in Mexico. She also sang her solo hit 'Heaven Is a Place on Earth' with Hagar's band. Other guests at the celebration included Joey Belladonna, Michael Anthony, Phil X, and Jerry Cantrell.
In a separate event, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day joined The Go-Go's on stage at Coachella 2025 to perform 'Head Over Heels'. This marked one of the first live performances of the original five members of The Go-Go's in seven years. Hagar, on the other hand, announced a new live album capturing his band's Las Vegas residency.
Last year, Hagar's tequila business Santo Tequila faced a theft of two trucks carrying around $1 million worth of merchandise in Texas. Additionally, Hagar's feud with Alex Van Halen continues, with the two not having spoken in 21 years. Hagar speculated that jealousy might be the root cause of the beef between them.
Hagar was also part of a supergroup that performed at Black Sabbath's final show, singing alongside Tom Morello, Nuno Bettencourt, Vernon Reid, Rudy Sarzo, Chad Smith, and Adam Wakeman. The event was a memorable moment in Hagar's music career.
