James Norton to Portray Brian Epstein in Sir Sam Mendes' Beatles Biopic Series
James Norton has been cast to portray Brian Epstein in Sir Sam Mendes' upcoming Beatles biopics. The four films will each focus on a different member of the iconic band, with Norton set to play their manager, Epstein. The movies will also feature Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. Saoirse Ronan will play Linda McCartney, Paul's late first wife, in the films. Norton shared that he has spent time with McCartney to prepare for his role, and Mescal confirmed that he will be doing his own singing in the movies. Keoghan, who will play Ringo Starr, recalled meeting the drummer and being unable to look at him or showcase his musical skills during their first encounter.
