Kpop Demon Hunters: The Return to Theaters Near You

Huntr/x is making a comeback to the big screen at movie theaters near you. Netflix is set to screen “Kpop Demon Hunters,” an animated fantasy adventure featuring a Kpop girl group fighting demons with their music, during Halloween-themed singalong showings. The movie will be shown from October 31 to November 2 at AMC, Regal, and Cinemark theaters across the US, as well as in select theaters.

The return of “KPop Demon Hunters” to theaters is a notable event as major theater chains like AMC, Regal, and Cinemark typically do not show films from Netflix, which tends to prioritize streaming over theatrical releases. The movie, which recently became Netflix’s most popular film, had a successful run at the box office in late August, grossing an estimated $18 million during a two-day sing-along screening. At that time, AMC Theatres, the largest theater chain globally, did not participate in showing the film.
