Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and singer Carla Harvey recently got married in a lavish Las Vegas ceremony officiated by KISS legend Gene Simmons. The star-studded event was attended by rock icons from bands like Anthrax, Pantera, Mötley Crüe, Dream Theater, and Nickelback. The couple, who had been dating for a while, got engaged after Benante proposed at a U2 Sphere concert in 2024. Their wedding reception was described as a mix of elegance and rock and roll, reminiscent of a Russ Meyer movie. The newlyweds shared their first dance to U2’s “All I Want Is You” and later enjoyed an all-star jam session with musicians like Scott Ian, Frank Bello, Mike Portnoy, Zach Throne, and Chris Jericho. Despite their busy schedules, both Charlie and Carla are eager to get back to work, with plans to work on new music for Carla’s band The Violent Hour and finalize a new Anthrax album.
