Introducing Sean Reagan: Meet Mika Amonsen in Boston Blue on CBS
Boston Blue introduces a new face to the character of Sean Reagan, Danny Reagan's youngest son, played by Mika Amonsen. The series follows Sean as he continues his family's legacy by becoming a patrolman in the Boston PD. When Danny moves to Boston and partners with Detective Lena Silver, played by Sonequa Martin-Green, their work and family lives become intertwined. The show also features Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben, Ernie Hudson, and Marcus Scribner, with Bridget Moynahan reprising her role as Erin Reagan.
Amonsen, a Canada native, got his start in acting in the late 2010s and has appeared in various films and TV shows. He also has a background in music, having been the lead guitarist of a rock band in Toronto. Amonsen praised his onscreen father, Donnie Wahlberg, for his energy and focus on set, describing him as generous and welcoming.
Boston Blue premieres on Friday, October 17 on CBS, and Amonsen is excited to step into the role of Sean Reagan, following in the footsteps of Andrew Terraciano. Wahlberg expressed his admiration for Amonsen's performance, predicting that audiences will fall in love with the new addition to the show.
