Revving Up: Repco NextGen NZ Championship 2025/2026 Season Preview

New Zealand's highly anticipated "summer series" is set to kick off at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park from October 31 to November 2. The broadcast details for the six-part series have been confirmed, with coverage in New Zealand shifting to Sky Sport and streaming service Sky Sport Now. Additionally, an Australian-specific broadcast announcement is expected soon, while internationally, motorsport.tv will also air the series. Viewers can also catch the action on the NextGen NZ Championship YouTube channel and Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand YouTube channel.
The on-air team for the NextGen NZ Championship will feature Rust, Craill, racer Ronan Murphy, and former V8 SuperTourers driver Andrew Waite. Head of broadcast, David Tunnicliffe, expressed pride in the partnership with Sky Sport NZ, highlighting the network's commitment to showcasing the championship. The global coverage will be expanded through a new YouTube channel and motorsport.tv, promising an enhanced viewing experience for fans. The upcoming season is expected to build on the success of the debut season last summer.
The NextGen NZ Championship will feature the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy as its main event across January and February. Support categories at select events will include the Bridgestone GR86 Championship, Summerset GT New Zealand, and the newly introduced TA2 New Zealand Championship. Other exciting categories on the lineup include the Porsche Racing Series New Zealand, GTRNZ, NAPA Central Muscle Cars, NAPA Auto Parts NZ Formula Ford Championship, and Nexen Tyre Mazda Racing Super Series.
