Football Manager 26 Introduces Official FIFA Licensing: A Game-Changer for Fans!

Football Manager 26 is set to feature official FIFA licensing for the first time, thanks to a new multi-year deal between Sports Interactive and FIFA. This licensing will be introduced in time for the FIFA World Cup 26, the FIFA Women's World Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup. The game will include official kits, broadcast graphics, and tournament branding for the final 48 teams in the FIFA World Cup 26.

The update for the International Management module, scheduled for release next year before the World Cup, will be available on all versions of the game, including Console and Touch versions. Sports Interactive studio director Miles Jacobson expressed excitement about the partnership with FIFA and the enhanced features that will be available to players.

The addition of the FIFA license follows the recent inclusion of the women's game in Football Manager 26, marking another milestone for the series. The game is set to launch globally on November 4th, developed for the first time using the Unity Engine. Eurogamer's Chris Tapsell has already tested the game to assess how the new engine has influenced gameplay.

Football Manager 26 is gearing up to offer an enhanced gaming experience with official FIFA licensing, including tournament kits and broadcast graphics. The partnership with FIFA signifies a significant milestone for the game, and fans can look forward to a more immersive and feature-rich International Management module in the upcoming update. Stay tuned for more exciting developments in 2026 and beyond.
