Unique Custody Agreement: Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell's Co-Parenting Journey

Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell, who were previously married, have come to a unique custody agreement for their son, Jack. The arrangement involves Jack living in two different states, alternating between Tennessee and New York every month. The exes will share joint legal and physical custody, with each parent having the opportunity to decide on activities for Jack during their time with him. They have also agreed on holiday and summer vacation schedules, as well as sharing the cost of Jack's travel between the states.
The custody deal, which covers the 2025/2026 school year, was modified after Bell relocated from Los Angeles to New York. Wood, who resides in Tennessee, and Bell will each have Jack for a month at a time before switching states. They have also arranged for Bell to visit Jack in Tennessee during his time there. Additionally, the parents can have two weekly calls with Jack when he is with the other parent.
In their previous custody agreement from 2022, both Wood and Bell waived the right to collect child support, acknowledging that they have the means to support Jack adequately. Wood had previously allowed Jack to live with Bell in Los Angeles for a brief period in 2023 amid her public accusations of abuse against Marilyn Manson, which Manson denied. Despite past conflicts, Wood and Bell seem to have resolved their differences and are focused on co-parenting Jack effectively.
Bell has since remarried actress Kate Mara and has two children with her. The couple recently listed their Los Angeles home for sale. The custody arrangement between Wood and Bell reflects their commitment to providing a stable and supportive environment for Jack as they navigate co-parenting following their divorce.
