Unveiling Arizona's First Olympic-Style Velodrome: Tucson Velodrome Grand Opening Celebration

Tucson Velodrome, Inc. is gearing up to celebrate the grand opening of Arizona's inaugural Olympic-style velodrome. The event is scheduled for Nov. 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the newly constructed Tucson Velodrome at Musselman Honda Circuit. This 250-meter track, featuring a distinctive aluminum surface, is a groundbreaking achievement as the world's first of its kind. While attendees won't be able to ride on the track during the celebration, the velodrome's core mission is to promote health, fitness, and youth programs. It will provide a secure setting for cyclists of all skill levels and offer programs to introduce young riders to the sport under the guidance of experienced coaches.
This event highlights the Tucson Velodrome's dedication to enhancing health, fitness, and economic growth in Tucson and southern Arizona. The facility's vision is to foster a culture of well-being and athleticism while nurturing the next generation of cyclists.
