Man Indicted for Stealing Unreleased Beyoncé Music: Fulton County Case Update

A man in Fulton County, Georgia, was indicted by a grand jury for allegedly breaking into a car and stealing hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music. Kelvin Evans faces charges of criminal trespass and entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft, according to the Oct. 13 indictment. A hearing scheduled for Thursday was canceled after the indictment was issued. The incident occurred on July 8 when Evans allegedly broke into a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, which belonged to Christopher Grant, a choreographer for Beyoncé, with the intention of stealing items. The stolen items included two suitcases and hard drives containing Beyoncé's unreleased music and show plans for the upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour in Atlanta. The Atlanta Police Department was able to track some of the stolen items, including a laptop and AirPods Max, by tracing their location signals. Evans was arrested on Aug. 26 by the Hapeville Police Department and booked into the Fulton County Jail. The stolen items had not been recovered at the time of his arrest. Beyoncé has not commented on the incident, and there is no information available about Evans' legal representation.
