The Woody Guthrie Center Virtual Silent Auction: Bid on a Guitar Signed by U2's Bono and The Edge

The auction will also include signed memorabilia from previous events by the Woody Guthrie Center and the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The marquee item is a Gibson 70s Explorer Natural guitar signed by the U2 band members. The auction will go live on Tuesday at 12 p.m. CT.
The Woody Guthrie Prize, named after the folk icon Woody Guthrie, is awarded to individuals who embody his social consciousness and musical legacy. This year's recipients, Bono and The Edge, will accept the prize at a ceremony at Tulsa's Cain's Ballroom. U2 previously performed at the venue in 1981 during their The Boy Tour. Past winners of the Woody Guthrie Prize include Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Joan Baez, and Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine.
