Eric Dane Stars in Emotional ALS Episode on Brilliant Minds: A Must-Watch on NBC

Eric Dane is set to star in an upcoming episode of the medical drama Brilliant Minds on NBC. In this episode, Dane will portray a firefighter and father who receives a life-changing diagnosis of ALS. The character will struggle to share this news with his family. Dane will be joined by Zachary Quinto, who plays Oliver Wolf, an attending physician in neurology at Bronx General Hospital. Despite his real-life battle with ALS, Dane continues to film for the third season of Euphoria, where he plays Cal Jacobs. He recently missed a Grey's Anatomy reunion at the Emmy Awards due to a fall that resulted in hospitalization. Dane has been using a wheelchair since his diagnosis and has been actively advocating for ALS research, receiving the Advocate of the Year award from the ALS Network.
