Limousine Driver Sues Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh Over Music Video Appearance

A lawsuit has been filed by a limousine driver against rappers Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh for their involvement in a music video from five years ago. The driver, Larry Deuel, claims that he was not compensated for his appearance in the video for the song "Tommy Lee." Deuel alleges that he did not give permission for his name, image, and likeness to be used in the video, which has garnered nearly 100 million views on YouTube. In 2020, Deuel was asked to drive the artists to the video shoot location, where he was then asked to participate in the video, with promises of being taken care of if he agreed. The video shows a limo driver rolling out a red carpet and opening and closing the rear door of a dark-colored stretch limo. The lawsuit seeks $2.5 million in principal damages and $7.5 million or more in punitive damages.
