Taylor Swift's Wedding Plans: Rumors, Venues, and Controversy

Popular blogger Perez Hilton recently shared his thoughts on pop star Taylor Swift's wedding plans. According to reports, Taylor and her fiancé Travis Kelce allegedly attempted to change a couple's wedding date to accommodate their own nuptials on Taylor's favorite date, the 13th.
Sources close to The Daily Mail revealed that Taylor is looking to book a venue near her seaside estate in Watch Hill, Westerly, Rhode Island, with The Breakers mansion in Newport, Rhode Island being a potential location. It was rumored that Taylor offered the couple who had already booked the venue $150,000 to move their wedding.
The Breakers mansion, built by Cornelius Vanderbilt II in 1895, boasts 70 rooms and is in close proximity to Taylor's holiday home. Despite the rumors, some insiders suggested that Taylor and Travis might actually be planning to wed at the Ocean House Hotel next to Taylor's family's house.
Both The Breakers mansion and the Ocean House Hotel have denied the wedding rumors, according to statements from their representatives. Taylor and Travis announced their engagement in August 2025, two years after they started dating. Travis proposed to Taylor with a custom-designed ring featuring an Old Mine brilliant cut diamond.
