New NBA Broadcasting Partnerships and TV Schedule: A Fan's Guide to Watching Games Across Networks

The NBA season has kicked off with new broadcasting partnerships and a revamped TV schedule. Michael Jordan is back with NBC, and Amazon Prime and ESPN have also joined the league's broadcasting lineup. Fans will need to keep track of which games are airing on which networks on different days of the week.

NBC will feature games on Mondays and Tuesdays, while ESPN will air games on Wednesdays and Prime Video on Fridays. As the season progresses, Prime Video will have more games on Thursdays, with Saturdays shared by ABC, ESPN, and Prime Video. Sundays will see a mix of ABC, ESPN, and NBC/Peacock broadcasts.

The NBA is introducing new features like having analysts near the team bench during games and providing real-time scores on the league's app with minimal delay. The league is also launching a digital initiative called "Tap to Watch" to help fans easily find and watch live NBA games across various platforms.

The opening night doubleheader featured games on Peacock and NBC, marking the return of NBA regular-season games to NBC after more than 20 years. Michael Jordan will be a special contributor for NBC, while ESPN and ABC will continue to broadcast the NBA Finals. ESPN/ABC and NBC will each air nearly 100 regular-season games, with Prime Video having exclusive global coverage of 66 regular-season games and other tournament rights.

The new NBA broadcasting landscape promises to bring fans more access to games across different platforms and networks. With the league's digital initiatives and partnerships, fans can expect an enhanced viewing experience throughout the season.
