Southern National Motorsports Park Speed Week 2026: Six Nights of Thrilling Racing Await!
Southern National Motorsports Park is gearing up for its 2026 season with the highly anticipated Speed Week event, featuring six nights of thrilling racing in late February and early March. The action-packed week will kick off with a doubleheader weekend on Saturday, February 28, 2026, and Sunday, March 1, 2026, showcasing touring series races and the Allison Legacy Race Series.
Following a brief break, Speed Week will resume on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, with four consecutive nights of racing for Late Model Stock Cars, Legend Cars, and Bandoleros. Each Late Model Stock race will offer a $5,000 prize for the winner. The excitement continues on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, with additional races featuring Mini Stocks, Chargers, and Any Cars.
Track owner Michael Diaz expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming Speed Week, hinting at exciting developments for the series races scheduled for February 28 and March 1. The event has evolved since its inception in 2024, with the addition of various racing categories and a growing fan base. The 2025 Speed Week saw Doug Barnes, Jr. clinch the championship title in the Late Model Stock Car category.
As Southern National Motorsports Park prepares for the 2026 season, fans can also look forward to other upcoming races, such as the Halloween Spooktacular Limited Late Model event on October 25, 2025, and the 25th Thanksgiving Classic from November 28-30, 2025. The Thanksgiving Classic will feature Late Model Stock Cars as the main attraction on the final night of racing.
