The Pink Panther Series: Peter Sellers in 4K Blu-ray - Release Dates and Special Features
Kino Lorber has announced the release of the original Peter Sellers series in ultra-HD clarity with 4K Blu-rays. The boutique label is set to release the five movies in the Sellers franchise, with street dates for each film scheduled for December 16, 2025, except for "Return of the Pink Panther," which is expected in early 2026. The ultra-HD releases will include extensive details and special features for each film.
In the first film of the series, "The Pink Panther" (1963), a European thief plans to steal a diamond, leading to a comedic chase involving French police inspector Jacques Clouseau. The movie will be available on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 16.
"A Shot in the Dark" (1964) follows Clouseau investigating a murder case involving a chambermaid accused of killing her lover. The film will also be released on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 16.
"The Pink Panther Strikes Again" (1976) sees Inspector Clouseau facing off against his former boss, who plans to destroy the world unless Clouseau is handed over. The movie will be available on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 16.
In "Revenge of the Pink Panther" (1978), Clouseau is targeted for assassination by a drug kingpin, leading to a series of comedic misadventures. The film will be released on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray on December 16.
