Fackham Hall: Legion M and Bleecker Street Join Forces for a Hilarious Comedy Adventure

Legion M, a fan-owned entertainment company, has partnered with Bleecker Street for the financing and distribution of the upcoming spoof comedy film, Fackham Hall. The collaboration will involve co-financing the film's distribution and marketing throughout its entire lifespan. This partnership builds on their previous work together on the distribution of the sci-fi comedy Save Yourselves! and signifies Legion M's strategic expansion into film distribution, following the success of their documentary William Shatner: You Can Call Me Bill in 2024.

Fackham Hall is a comedic film inspired by classics like Airplane! and Monty Python, set in the world of period dramas such as Downton Abbey and Gosford Park. The story follows Eric Noone, a charming pickpocket played by Ben Radcliffe, who secures a job at the English manor house Fackham Hall. As Eric navigates his new role, a forbidden romance with lady-of-the-house Rose Davenport, portrayed by Thomasin McKenzie, develops. However, a sudden murder leads to Eric being framed, putting Rose and her family's future in jeopardy.

The star-studded cast of Fackham Hall includes Katherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tom Felton, and Damian Lewis, with Jim O'Hanlon directing and a screenplay by Jimmy Carr, Patrick Carr, and the Dawson Brothers. Legion M co-founders Paul Scanlan and Jeff Annison expressed excitement about expanding their distribution capabilities with this project, highlighting its smart, funny, and original nature. Bleecker Street CEO Kent Sanderson echoed this sentiment, praising Legion M's innovative approach and enthusiastic community as ideal for showcasing the film's humor to audiences.

Legion M's recent successes include the release of My Dead Friend Zoe and the graphic novel Defiant: The Robert Smalls Story, with the thriller Fade to Black in post-production. On the other hand, Bleecker Street is gearing up for the release of Rebuilding starring Josh O'Connor after their collaboration on the thriller Bone Lake. With Fackham Hall set to hit theaters nationwide on December 5, the partnership between Legion M and Bleecker Street promises to deliver a hilarious and entertaining cinematic experience for audiences.
