I Play Rocky: The Untold Story Behind Sylvester Stallone's Iconic Role

Sylvester Stallone initially hesitated to reprise his iconic role as Rocky Balboa in Creed due to the original script's plan to kill off the character. After some persuasion from director Ryan Coogler and script revisions, Stallone agreed to return, portraying a Rocky battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma instead. The challenge of dramatic acting without physical fights proved rewarding for Stallone in Creed and Creed II, where he faced off against Dolph Lundgren's Ivan Drago. However, Stallone did not return for Creed III, as the focus shifted to Adonis Creed's storyline. Creed IV is currently in development.
