Stray Cats Tour Update: Brian Setzer's Health Issues Lead to Cancellation of Shows

The Stray Cats had to cancel the first two shows of their fall U.S. tour due to Brian Setzer's serious illness. Setzer expressed his regret in a statement shared on social media. The band canceled their performances in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and Rockford, Illinois. The Hard Rock Casino Rockford also announced the cancellation of the show scheduled for October 26th due to Setzer's health issues. Setzer had previously mentioned dealing with an autoimmune disease that affected his ability to play guitar. Despite these challenges, the band is set to resume their tour in Louisville, Kentucky, and continue across the United States until November 23rd. The Stray Cats released two new songs, "Stampede" and "Teenage Heaven," last week, marking their first new music since 2019's 40 album.
