Style Legacy: Carys Zeta Douglas Channels Catherine Zeta-Jones in Vintage Dress at PAC NYC Icons of Culture Gala

Carys Zeta Douglas, the daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones, recently made a fashion statement by wearing a black lace-accented dress that her mother had worn 20 years ago to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame event. Carys, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother, attended the PAC NYC Icons of Culture Gala with her father, Michael Douglas, while paying tribute to her mom with the borrowed dress.
Despite Catherine Zeta-Jones' absence at the event due to work commitments, Carys Zeta Douglas looked elegant in the vintage dress paired with pointed black heels and ruby-hued earrings. Michael Douglas, who was also present at the gala, sported a black suit with a collared shirt and purple tie, posing alongside his daughter on the red carpet.
This is not the first time Carys Zeta Douglas has borrowed a designer dress from her mother's closet. She previously wore her mother's pink and white floral Ungaro dress for her 21st birthday celebration. Carys expressed her gratitude for having access to her mom's wonderful closet, emphasizing her love for vintage clothes and sustainability in fashion choices.
During the gala, Carys Zeta Douglas shared her post-college plans, revealing that despite her degree in film and international relations, she aspires to pursue theater, having grown up in that environment. She and her brother Dylan, who is also a Brown University graduate, are the children of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who have been married since 2000 after a brief separation in 2013.
